This "fudge" is made from a handful of gloriously healthy products. It's super easy to make and is 100% raw. These are the absolute BEST vegan chocolate truffles, anywhere, ever! No one will guess they’re vegan as they’re not lacking in flavour or texture. They’re also super easy to make and fairly healthy as far as sweet treats go. Reading the ingredients list you’d imagine them to be really coconuty but they’re not. They basically taste of chocolate with a very subtle coconut flavour.

I love something sweet and crunchy in the morning but find the amount of sugar in most granolas off putting. Even the "healthy" ones are crammed full of sugar and are far too sweet, and why do none of them contain healthy protein?

I noticed nutritionist Sameera Howard posting granola ideas so thought instead of scouring the shop shelves and complaining I'd make one using our lovely ingredients. It turned out really delicious!

These truffles pack a seriously powerful punch. They're raw, contain no sugar and are free from dairy. But let's not focus on what's not in them, lets look at what IS in them. These little flavour explosions are seriously energy boosting and are ideal as a post workout snack. They contain hemp powder, which is a complete protein, and is rich in omega 3 and 6. They're naturally sweetened with lacuma powder. Lacuma is an Andean fruit which tastes like a cross betwen sweet potato and maple syrup.

Sugar Free Beetroot Brownies

Ingredients:
50g ground almonds
50g plain flour (Wheat or gluten free)
1 tsp baking powder
One medium sweet potato
4 tbl cacao
3 tbl beet powder
3 tbl coconut oil
1 egg
4 tbl honey, agave or maple syrup
1/3 cup orange juice
15 dates

Raw Chocolate Mint Balls

Ingredients:

9 medjool dates
1 tbl coconut oil
3 tbl cacoa powder
Pinch of salt
2 tbl cocoa nibs or small chunks of bitter chocolate
A few drops of peppermint oil
Cacoa powder for dusting

1 frozen banana (cut into chunks before sticking in the freezer)
2 sprigs mint (chocolate mint is best if you can find it!)
1 tbs raw cacao nibs
1 heaped tsp maca, lucuma or mesquite powder (optional)
1 - 2 tsp Marvellous Superfood powder

Ingredients

75g Linwoods milled flax, almond, walnut and brazil mix or your own combination of ground nuts and seeds
35g Rolled oats
125g Coconut oil
35g Raw cacao powder
35g Lacuma powder
65g Beetroot powder
1tsp Vanilla powder or sugar free essence
30g Dessicated coconut

Method:

Melt the coconut oil, add the cacao followed by all the other ingredients. Mould into balls about 1/2-1 tbl each. Toast the coconut and sprinkle over. Chill.
